We Hate Spam & Fraud as much as you do

Travel2help.org does not share, sell, loan or give your email, name or other personal information to any one. We take the protection of your information seriously. We hate Spam and Online Fraud and we have taken a series of steps to protect you.


Optional & Fully-Verified Opt-In Email Subscription Lists

We may offer a number of free subscriptions to e-newsletters and e-lists. You will NEVER be required to sign up for any of these lists. Additionally, we use fully-verified opt-in to prevent spam and ensure that any emails sent to you are because you have specifically requested it. Anyone can type an email address that does not belong to them into a form for more information. Only verified opt-in ensures that the email address entered actual belongs to the person who entered it. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communications or by emailing us at info@travel2help.org.

 

We post customer testimonials on our web site which may contain personally identifiable information such as the customer's name and email. We do obtain the customer's consent prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial.

What Information Do We Collect?

We collect information from you to help us personalize and improve your Travel2help.org experience, to process your online requests, and to send you communications to which you have subscribed. In addition, when you register for a program, we collect demographic information (age, occupation, school, etc) for our own internal use and the internal use of partner charities and host families. This information helps to accurately describe the types of participants in each program we offer and give some general information about you, the participant, to the schools and host families where you will attend. This sharing of information is a quality control measure which helps insure the best matches in various program components. This information collected is limited to use within Travel2help.org. Travel2help.org does not sell contact information to third parties.


Travel2help.org does NOT collect any credit card information. Any email from Travel2help.org asking you yo share such details is possibly a fraud. All credit card payments go through a third party for the express purpose of protecting you and Travel2help.org from fraud and any other liability. We have performed due diligence and determined that the third party is trustworthy and responsible. Should you have any concerns about using a credit card, we encourage you to use a bank transfer to transmit funds to us.


Travel2help.org is the sole owner of the information collected on www.travel2help.org. Travel2help.org collects personally identifiable information from our users at several different points on our Web site.

 

We will send you service-related announcements when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if you register for a project, you will receive confirmation by email that a place has been reserved for you in the project. If you have applied to one of our projects, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature.
